The contrast between what I’m experiencing and what I tell the world. Persistent pain in my back and legs from MS. The pain fluctuates between three and seven on the pain scale always in that range. I say I’m fine but realistically how could I be fine with everything my body is experiencing? Saying I’m fine is my way of accepting this as just life not as something extra or unmanageable. This is my reality and I can handle it. I care not to share this part of my life partly because I feel I need a more private isolated life from the rest of the world. That’s part of the tragedy of having this condition. With that being said
I’m in my own bubble a multiple sclerosis bubble. This is not about wanting sympathy or pity. This is an outlet for feelings I haven’t expressed because most people in my life don’t know and I’m not trying to explain it to them. This is how I express what’s really going on inside.
