Patiently Waiting for the JBL Xtreme 5 to Drop Back to Two Hundred Ninety Nine Dollars

I've had my eye on the JBL Xtreme 5 for a while now. When I first spotted it it was priced at two hundred ninety nine dollars and that number has been stuck in my head ever since. Fast forward to now and the price has jumped up to three hundred forty nine dollars. That is fifty dollars more than what I originally saw and honestly at that price it feels like too much to justify right now.

So here is where I'm at. I'm watching this thing like a hawk. Three hundred forty nine dollars is already a steep price for a speaker no matter how good it sounds and prices like that don't tend to stay elevated forever. I don't know exactly when it'll happen but I have a feeling it's bound to come back down to two hundred ninety nine eventually. Prices like this tend to cycle and I'm banking on that happening sooner rather than later.

Until then I'm playing the long game. No impulse buying no settling for a price that doesn't feel right. The second that number hits two hundred ninety nine dollars again I'm pouncing on it immediately. This is part of what More Sauce Entertainment is about for me. Building a better life on my terms means being smart and patient with money even when it's something I really want. So consider this the first entry in the price watch. I'll keep you posted on when that number finally drops and when it does you'll be the first to know I got it.
