More Sauce Mindset
People hear the word "diagnosis" and they picture a life that shrinks. Doctors give you a name for what's wrong with your body, and if you let it, that name becomes the whole story. I refuse that story. I have more sauce.
Multiple sclerosis is a label built out of fear, out of clinical language that carries the weight of depression and anxiety in every syllable. Say it enough times and it starts to feel like a life sentence. So I stopped saying it. I call it what it actually is for me: more sauce. Extra flavor. Extra grit. Something added to my life, not something that defines it.
This is not denial. The condition is real, and I live with it every day. But there is a difference between having something and being consumed by it. I have more sauce. I am not more sclerosis. That shift in language is a shift in power. It puts me back in the driver's seat of my own story instead of handing the wheel to a diagnosis.
Living with more sauce means I keep building. It means bad days still happen, but they do not get the final word. It means staying a little delusional in the best possible way, believing in a healthier future even when the evidence is stubborn, and trusting that belief matters.
This is not a call for anyone else to copy my words. It is simply how I am choosing to roll. I am disabled, and I am still thriving, still creating, still chasing more out of life than four walls and a diagnosis. That is the whole mindset. That is more sauce.
